WHO IS ALEXANDRA SURKOVA?
Alexandra Surkova is a professional wildlife and fine art photographer, visual storyteller, and founder of a series of signature wildlife photography journeys.
Before dedicating her life entirely to wildlife photography, she spent more than 15 years working in journalism and media, a background that still shapes the way she approaches every story: observing first, searching for context and looking beyond the obvious.
Her work moves between documentary photography and fine art, exploring not only the beauty of wild animals, but also their individuality, vulnerability and the increasingly fragile relationship between wildlife and us. Whether working on a single image or a long-term visual project, her aim is the same: to make people feel close enough to the wild to care about what happens to it.

PUBLICATIONS
Her photographs and stories have been featured in international publications and platforms including Sony Alpha Universe, National Geographic publications, El País and The Independent. Alexandra has collaborated with brands and organizations such as Sony, Leica, WWF, Gitzo, Benro and ProGrade Digital.
She has participated in more than a dozen exhibitions around the world, and one of her photographs was exhibited as part of a collaboration involving UNESCO and Nautilus Magazine. Her photography focuses not only on creating powerful wildlife images, but also on exploring the fragile relationship between humans and nature through visual storytelling and fine art photography.
EXHIBITIONS
Alongside her photographic expeditions, Alexandra is also developing international conservation and exhibition projects, including ‘‘Wild Voices‘‘ — an immersive fine art wildlife exhibition exploring communication, vulnerability and coexistence between species.
Through photography, sound and storytelling, her work aims to create emotional connections that inspire people to care about the natural world before it disappears.
